Twitter and Facebook declines Pelosi’s request to delete a video of her shredding Trump’s speech
US speaker Nacy Pelosi’s request to delete a video of her shredding President Donald Trump’s speech at the State of the union on Tuesday, 4th Feburary2020 has been declined by Facebook and Twitter.
Pelosi demanded that Facebook and Twitter should delete the video posted online by President Donald Trump, which was edited to portray her ripped the speech even as Trump saluted a Tuskegee airman in the audience.
The video, tagged “Powerful American stories ripped to shreds by Nancy Pelosi,” was posted on Trump’s official Facebook page and Twitter handle which has huge followers with the statistics of over 72 million followers.
In response, Facebook and Twitter refused to delete the videos, saying it has nothing to do with content violation or policy violation.
Facebook spokesman Andy Stones reacted thus
“I can confirm for you that the video doesn’t violate our policies.”
