The Super Eagles of Nigeria have maintained their spot on the log according to the latest FIFA Rankings released by the football umpire for the month of February. The Super Eagles of Nigeria is placed on the 31 spots on the log ahead of Belgium France, Brazil, England, and Uruguay comfortably seated as top five leaders on the log.

Super Eagles’ African counterpart Senegal ranked Number one in Africa has been placed 20th on the latest FIFA ranking while Tunisia remains number two in Africa and 27th in the world.

The teams of the men’s member nations of FIFA football’s world governing body, are ranked based on their game results with the most successful teams being ranked highest. The rankings were introduced in December 1992, and eight teams (Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, and Spain have held the top position, of which Brazil has spent the longest ranked first.

A points system is used, with points being awarded based on the results of all FIFA-recognized full international matches.
