Kogi State High Court sitting in Lokoja has faulted the governorship primary carried out by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the State.

In a ruling on Thursday, Justice John Olorunfemi faulted the exercise held on September 3 and stated the party had no candidate in the governorship election.

This was noted in a judgment by the presiding judge, Justice John Olorunfemi, who stated that the exercise held on 3rd September was inconclusive while upholding that the party did not have any candidate in the governorship election.

According to him, the party conducted the primary in a hasty way and, therefore, it was inconclusive.

According to the court ruling, PDP conducted the primary in a very hasty way and therefore, it was totally unacceptable.
